The Sixth Floor Museum
The sixth floor museum is named that way because it is actually located on the sixth floor of a building near the Dealey Plaza where president john F. Kennedy was assassinated. The details of the shooting are still a mystery but three separate investigations carried out by US agencies, including one by the FBI, conclude that the shots were fired from the sixth floor of a building that was then named "Texas School Book Depository". This building thus became famous and the Sixth Floor Museum was created on the sixth floor of the building to commemorate JFK.
This museum has been open since 1989 and provides a lot of information about the John F. Kennedy assassination. It attracts a lot of conspiracy theorists, hobbyists and enthusiasts who are intrigued by the assassination incident. Although a person was charged with the murder of the president, the evidences till date have all remained inconclusive.
So the mystery continues to haunt a lot of people. The museum itself has a lot of memorabilia and information related to JFK directly and not only on the assassination. So it is a good place to visit for learning about the president himself.
