Visit Music Hall at Fair Park Dallas: Experiencing the Spanish Baroque Style Designing
Ever since a fantastic debut back in 1925, Music Hall at Fair Park Dallas has been one of the most interesting performing arts venues in Dallas. The first show was titled Student Prince and was a work of Sigmund Romberg. The venue is known for its design in the Spanish style of the Baroque genre. The construction is also believed to possess influences of the Moorish styles prevalent in its time of birth.
The hall that you will see today is however not the same as that in 1925. After a major renovation in 1972, the venue had its lobby and the backstage areas expanded. Most of the improvements at the hall consisted of improvements in its acoustics. The seats were left as they were, until 1999, when the refurbishment was complete, and the theater was ready to be inaugurated for a second leg, almost after a century.
The highly regarded performance venue hosts operas and ballets by eminent artists in and outside of Dallas. One of the most important venues for private events hiring as well, you can use the beautiful architecture and interiors for hosting events of a large scale. Corporate meetings, black tie events and much more is part of the services at Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas.
The stage at the venue is one of best in the state. With a comfortable pit for a full-fledged orchestra, the venue is perfect for musicals. The hall gets house full for most of the musicals, especially owing to the theater construction dedication to live art performances.
