Parking has never been easier at Dallas Convention Center. There are ample parking spaces there in two underground parking garages, two surfaces lots and an additional outdoor parking. Yet parking rate is quite expensive, $10 per entry. The two underground parking garages are located under the exhibit hall of Dallas Convention Center. They have a total parking capacity of 1200 cars. Surface Lot E can accommodate up to 1584 cars and Lot C can accommodate 170 cars. Additional parking is available near lower C lobby.

How to get to the Dallas Convention Center? As the center is located in downtown, it is easy to get access to the center by various means of transportation.

1) You can get to the Dallas Convention Center via DART Rail. Take DART train and get off at ground level at the Convention Center Station under Exhibit Halls E & F. Then walk towards Lamar and go north on Lamar to the driveway. You can get access to the lobbies of the center by the stairs, escalators and elevators. 2) The center has installed a new electronic kiosk in Lower C Lobby. Visitors also can order transportation to hotels and the airport there. The transportation kiosk is sponsored by Yellow Cab.

3) If you choose to drive to the Dallas Convention Center, you could take advantage of your GPS to help get you into the location. If not, familiarize yourself with the driving directions to Dallas Convention Center.

For visitors coming from Central Expressway (U.S. 75) southbound, take exit to I-35/U.S. 77 to Field Street. Turn left under the freeway and drive towards right onto Griffin Street. You will find the Convention Center straight ahead.

If you are driving from the Tollway, take the Harry Hines or Downtown exit to Field Street. Then veer to the Griffin Street. Follow the Griffin Street and the center will appear in your line of sight soon.

Traveling from Carpenter Freeway (I-183), drive towards east to Stemmons Freeway (I-35E) southbound. Then take the I-45/U.S. 75 exit to the Griffins Street exit. The center is straight ahead. If you come from Denton or Lewisville, this route also works for you.

If you are traveling from the South on I-35, take R.L. Thornton Freeway (I-35E) northbound. Then take I-30 east to Griffin or Lamar exit. Stay in the left driveway until you exit to turn into the Griffin Street. The Convention Center is right forward.

For those who travel from the East, take R.L. Thornton Freeway (I-30) westbound. Exit at the Ervay Street and continue straight onto the Griffin Street. If taking I-30 eastbound, use Lamar/Griffin Street exit. The center is straight ahead.

Driving from Julius Schepps (I-45) northbound, you should take I-30 West to Downtown/Ervay Street exit. Drive on along the exit to Griffin Street. The Griffin Street will direct you to the center.

Where is the parking entrance? On-site parking is available at the Dallas Convention Center. The center has two separate parking garages that can hold 1,200 vehicles, located beneath the main level of exhibits space at the center.
