Dallas Vacation Bible Schools

Summer vacations are a good time to enroll your kids in a Vacation Bible school. These are fun places where your child gets to meet other children from different backgrounds. This helps the child to develop key social skills while learning about religion and better ways of living. Many Dallas travelling parents enroll their kids at one of the many vacation Bible schools in the city. For those parents unaware of where to look, here is list of some of the vacation Bible schools in Dallas.

1. Davis Blvd Baptist Church

Their vacation bible camp takes place in July and August. This year the vacation bible camp will be held at the Riverbend Retreat Center. The girl's camp will take place from July 21st to July 25th, '09. The boy's camp will take place from August 11th to August 15th, '09.

2. Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church

The Vacation Bible School at this church starts in the first week of June for 4th to 12th graders. In the second of week all age groups are invited to take part in fun and learning activities. After that, sixth graders and above can participate in helping teachers with outdoor games, drama and dancing lessons.

3. First Presbyterian Church of Arlington

This year the church will conduct two events at the same time. They have planned to combine the vacation bible school with the music camp, giving kids an opportunity to explore their musical sides. The camp will be held from August 10th to August 14th. The entire camp week will be filled with a number of activities. The camp will also help teach kids how to build their lives on the rock.
